WINERCOST chair Prof. Dr.-Ing. C. Baniotopoulos was invited to contribute to the Workshop “Identification of Future Emerging Technologies in the wind power sector" that took place at the JRC in Ispra Varese on December 5th, 2017. During this Workshop, the participants tried to identify the most emerging (low TRL) technologies/sub-technologies and to assess their main pro/cons such as potential impact and challenges and main performance indicators (e.g. power), and finally, the respective Technology readiness Level (TRL) was assessed. A report containing the complete bunch of outcomes will be published by the JRC-EU in due time.
Please note that the deadline for abstracts submission for the WINERCOST '18 Final Conference in Catanzaro 21-23 March 2018 has been extended to 22 October 2017.
